Hey you guys! After being put on AP for 3 years we've finally had our visa issued. After his interview my husband was given a 221G slip, was told to fill out the DS-5535 and asked to submit documents. We completed and submitted within 2 days. Over the past 3 years in AP we've sent numerous emails and called them but to no avail, they respond with the automated messages.
We finally decided to file a WoM with Josh and his team last December 2021 . The consulate requested an Indian PCC and updated Medical exam. We kept being put on extension for the past 7 months as my husband couldn't get the Indian PCC, and we finally decided to submit an Affidavit explaining our situation for not being able to submit the PCC. After the submission of the Affidavit and medical examination, within 8 days our visa was issued.
All this wouldn't have been possible if we hadn't filed a WoM lawsuit as we know it would've been an endless cycle of automated emails and we're very grateful to Josh and his wonderful team.

As an American citizen, I applied from Lebanon for CR1 spouse immigrant visa to my husband on September 2nd, 2020. The interview was held on January 3rd 2022 and we were stuck in Administrative Processing for 6 months straight. We completely lost hope in our case and been through severe devastation for the pending situation we were left in. That's when we decided to hire Goldstein's attorney to file a Writ of Mandamus. The lawsuit was filed within 2 weeks. The summons were served 1 week later and we received a call from the embassy, 35 days later, to submit the passport and a new medical. 9 days later we collected the passport with the visa stamped on it.
