Mr. Kampf also recognizes and appreciates the emotional aspect involved in the loss of any employment position, as well as the stress and humiliation associated with discrimination, harassment, and retaliation by employers.

In the past, Mr. Kampf has represented individuals and companies of all sizes on a wide range of state and federal employment law disputes involving issues of wrongful discharge, race, age, gender, disability, and national origin discrimination, breach of contract, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Kampf has successfully litigated and arbitrated numerous employment law cases. Mr. Kampf also has extensive experience representing his clients before state and federal administrative agencies, including the EEOC, DFEH, and DLSE. For employers, Mr. Kampf focuses on preventative measures and provides counsel on how to avoid employment disputes and wage/hour issues. Mr. Kampf also reviews and drafts employee handbooks and related personnel policies.

Prior to founding the Law Office of William O. Kampf, Mr. Kampf worked in Orange County and Los Angeles for two nationally recognized labor and employment law firms, where he represented many Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Kampf also worked for a boutique Los Angeles law firm where he represented small and medium sized companies, as well as numerous individuals and entrepreneurs.

Mr. Kampf was named a "Super Lawyers" Southern California Rising Star in 2007 and 2008, an award provided to approximately 2.5 percent of the best up-and-coming attorneys in Southern California who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Mr. Kampf is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California.

Mr. Kampf is a 1998 graduate of Temple University (B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and a 2001 graduate of Temple University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Kampf interned for the National Labor Relations Board, Region 4 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Board Agent.
