I just want to thank Diane for such professionalism, knowledge, and for being so patient and attentive. I called on a Sunday morning to ask about a document. She took her time to answer every single one of my questions and guided me how to go about resolving my issue. Keep in mind I am not her client we had never spoken before. And still she took time out of her Sunday to help me out. Thank you Diane!!

Diane Drain is an amazing person. She is the kind of attorney you want on your side and comes highly recommended by other attorney's. Even though my case was not a bankruptcy case, she took time out of her day to help me find someone who could help me. I don't know of another attorney that would do this.

Diane and Jay are an absolutely phenominal professional team. Bankruptcy is not an easy undertaking and there is a lot of paperwork you have to gather before filing so be prepared and do not get annoyed because Diane and Jay will guide you every step of the way. Try looking at it as a valuable learning experience to get you back on the right track to financial stability. They answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly explained the legal processes and what we could expect so there were no surprises. Her website is a fantastic reference for both clients and attorneys. Spend some time reviewing it and you'll be convinced that she is the right attorney for you. From your first call to Diane you will immediately see that she is compassionate in understanding your situation and will feel confident that she is the right attorney to proceed with. Keep in mind that she has been specializing in bankruptcy's for about 30 years and is held in high esteem within the court system. Her fees are very reasonable and her Yelp review page says "discounts available" which we found to be true as my spouse and myself are both veterans and we originally connected with Diane through a link upon another link within the VA Weekly Newsletter. You confirmed that my focus on education is extremely helpful to clients, like yourselves, who want to understand how bankruptcy works. As I always say to young bankruptcy attorneys - the bankruptcy belongs to the clients, not the attorney. Clients have a right to be fully educated about their options, which might include bankruptcy, and the benefits and consequences of those choices. You are the first client to point out that my website is really designed for the general public and for my fellow attorneys. Diane Drain is consummate professional. She took over my case when my other attorney was disbarred. This meant appearing on my behalf in Federal Court Judge (not just the Trustee) with about one week’s notice. She is protective of her clients and their interests. Diane is a teacher by nature and a great attorney by practice. She makes sure you understand even if she has to say it twice (sometimes more).
My family and I feel blessed to have found Diane. Sometimes an awful situation is a blessing in disguise!

MW - thank you for taking the time to help others understand how we came to meet each other. Having a bad attorney is extremely upsetting, but having a bad attorney, who is so bad that they get disbarred is horrible. Unfortunately, you are one of many who were left abandoned when your attorney was finally disbarred. I was flattered when you selected me as your replacement attorney, because I know that many of Forrester's clients just ran away from the Bankruptcy Court, not wanting anything to do with the process. You have been a pleasure to work with, very responsive when I asked for information or documents, even to the point of us working on several Sundays to get your chapter 13 back on track. Remember that Jay and I are always here if you have any questions. Keep the faith that together you and I can reach a successful conclusion to this situation.

The decision to declare bankruptcy is difficult. The journey through a 5-year Chapter 13 is more difficult. What was NOT difficult was the invaluable expertise, recommendations, and advice throughout that we received from Diane and her office. Don't get caught up in the morass of law offices that claim to care but leave you to clean up your own mess. Go directly to Diane.

Barbara - Jay and I want to thank you for such a great review. You know more than most, how difficult a chapter 13 case is. The good news is that you, and your wonderful hubby, were willing to follow our directions and were always quick to respond whenever we need information or documents. You made our lives very simple. At the beginning I explained that only 50%, or less, of chapter 13 cases are successful. Our goal is to have 80% of all our chapter 13 cases be successful, so your hard work really helped with that goal. Thank you. Please call if there is anything we can help you with.
