Let's say going through an accident and facing devastating consequences are definitely not something we think about daily. Nor do we "savor" the opportunity to gain a couple of hundred of thousands of dollars in a pocket via personal pain, broken bones, mental stress, physical disability, and even PTSD. Unfortunately, bad things can happen to anyone regardless of being cautious on a street whether we drive or walk (!) On a sunny day, I was crossing the pedestrian walk when the car at high speed ran me over. For a second, I thought, "nuh could not be. This is in my mind.. is it?" The hit, the creaking sound of the brakes, the 180-degree spinning of my body, fast falling.....shock. I was actually on my way home to get ready for a date anticipating a great dinner with my partner. Next time I was hearing tons of people screaming and asking if I was OK. I thought I was, however from the same people I have heard, "her lung probably collapsed, she has difficulty breathing." They have asked me to get up and I could not, something was wrong with my chest. What a scary movie, Dios Mio! But that was the worse part. Right after spending many hours in the emergency room-couple of phone calls to friends and family- and I was recommended to call the office of Pita Weber & Del Prado - Miami Injury Lawyer. The following Monday, I was already in the office speaking to attorney Randy Weber. I was pleased with the professionalism, and perhaps not common for lawyer empathy and compassion. Trust me; I needed plenty of it because I had an ugly orthopedic cast on my beautiful body and already had three sleepless nights due to being forced to lay only in one position. I felt miserable; in addition to the strong step-by-step strategy I was introduced to, it felt honestly good to meet human kindness in the face of suited guys with many legal papers to sign and seriousness of look. Randy took his time to educate and to inform. He explained my basic rights and all the proper standards of the following steps he, as my attorney, would take to protect me. Right there, I felt empowered. Now, when the settlement is signed and I had received my compensation, I feel blessed. Because no one time, I had to worry about anything. By the way, believe it or not, the driver who had run a stop sign and had broken my three ribs and one vertebra tried to blame me as I threw myself on his car. Some really weird people are out there, I need to say. I was receiving calls from Randy's office almost daily with updates. That was very helpful because my anxiety level was high, and every time I heard that everything was moving and under control, I felt at peace. Shortly, thanks To Randy, my case was resolved within a couple of months, and now I only take care of my well-being. I also need to highlight Nicole, the paralegal who works with Randy. Nicole had made my life easier and the whole process smoother. Each email of any of my concerns was answered quickly and had all the answers from A to Z; I kid you not. Is like I was dealing with top intelligence of law business. Very impressed. Highly recommend.
