I hired this firm to do my bankruptcy and they are very responsive and good with selling you on them. However once they get you and a couple thousand dollars you cannot get any help. I call and never get a person. I leave a voice mail and never get a call back. I leave messages in their portal as they advise and never get a response on helping me with things I need as a my attorney should be helping with. Nothing. I even sent text to Mr. Geller himself. Nothing. They are nice once you actually get someone. I think they just may be too big to give personal attention. I would recommend another place at this time.

Awful terrible experience please file on your own do not come here for bankruptcy services. I paid them 200 dollars a month for nearly 2 years and they still want more money. 2500 for me to legally declare I have no money or assets makes a lot of sense guys thanks. You literally can download all the documents you need to file and as long as you aren't too lazy to drive yourself to the courthouse it can all be done on your own. Never even met the attorney spoke to the guy once the paralegals did all the work. Complete waste of 2 years of my life and a ton of money. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of the financially vulnerable. Moral of the story, file on your own the paralegals did 90 percent of the work so if they're qualified to do it you are as well. Do NOT pay them 2500 dollars to file some paperwork with information you provide. UPDATE apparently this "law firm" is unaware of how the law works. I called and spoke to a person in billing and we came to an agreement on a payment plan which is in effect an oral contract. They then decide to break said contract because they felt i was "rude" sorry guys that's not how it works you cant just break a contract because of something as subjective as taking offense to something.

I am very sorry you feel this way. From the first day you spoke with our firm the fees were clearly explained to you and you understood them. Most importantly the fees you were charged were reasonable based on services required. Our firm must charge a certain amount to insure that the client gets the services they desire and need to obtain the results they are seeking. Further, our firm provided you a very affordable payment plan to allow you to file your case even before all of the fees were paid. Filing for bankruptcy is a very difficult process that requires more than 40 pages of completed documents to be filed with the court. It requires a court appearance in some cases more than one. In some cases it requires additional documents to be filed with the court after the initial filing. Sometimes our firm has to assist the client with challenges posed by the office of the Untied States Trustee and the interim trustees. Many of these services are included in our fees. Additionally, documents need to be provided to secure trustee portals in certain format. Hours and hours of time is dedicated to each client to insure that they get the results that they desire. This is exactly what was achieved for this client and he did in fact get his discharge of all of his debts without any problem. In our firm the client meets with an attorney from the beginning, meets with an attorney just before a case is filed and then at the time of the clients court appearance. Of course any time a client desires an attorney will again meet and discuss the clients case with them. This is just a few examples of the services that we offer. Then after the case is discharged as in this case we offer the client an opportunity to use a program to assist them with rebuilding their credit to a reach as much as a 720 after 12 to 24 months. It is a great program that has helped many client over the last 8 years. This is an additional service we offer.

After 5 years of successfully handling this client's case, I am very sorry that Mr. Durham feels this way. Mr. Durham did meet with Mr. Papa initially. At that time he signed an agreement with our law firm. The agreement provided that he was hiring the Law Offices of Robert M. Geller, Pa. While Mr. Papa is an outstanding attorney, he never represented that he would be handling the case through the entirety.
My response:
Mr. Papa did several things for me at the beginning of the case besides just the initial consultation which led me to believe I would be working with him including mailing out letters to various places and returning emails.
The matter that we were hired for was complicated and very few lawyers have the skill and expertise to handle that I have.
My response:
I am sure there are other attorneys who could have managed the case successfully. Again, Mr. Geller showing his arrogance and condescension, that he is superior, you are inferior, and this was made clear to me at each contact with him during the case.
As a result I managed the case for Mr. Durham to achieve a successful result and in fact that is exactly what he achieved.
My response:
Mr. Geller did "manage" the case to get it filed, then provided the least amount of service after case was filed possible.
I am sorry if I offended you and cut you short when I had a plane to catch but if I said that it was the truth and certainly something I believe you should have understood.
I was still talked down to and rushed off the phone call but it may have taken weeks to speak to him again based on the track record of this case.
The phone call was just one instance of the disdain from officer and Geller personally.
Other instances included:
Had an in office appointment with Mr. Geller early one afternoon.
He was having an office meeting with his staff in the front lobby.
I waited for the meeting to end for nearly an hour and a half.
It is my experience that if you approach this office you will meet with Mr. Papa or some other attorney other than Mr. Geller.
After that occurs and you sign documents and pay them money is when the entire experience changed for me and at a time when at a very low point in my life.
Phone appointments with Mr. Geller set for both morning and early afternoon and then calling me after 6:30 in the evening.
Providing support on responses to claimants. The paralegals and / or office staff took more than a month, and in one instance 6 weeks to reply by Ms. Muxlow who is no longer with the office to respond.
After this occurred, I cc'd Mr. Geller each time I needed something without one reply directly from him to any requests. Not one.
At the very end of the case, I received a document stating I needed to complete to prove that I did not have or owe spousal support.
After I had left messages with office after sending the completed document to them, a paralegal or assistant sends another email to me telling me "you need to complete this document to get your case discharged."
I called this support staff member and was told "this is the first email I received about it." I sent the document several times over weeks and cc'd to Mr. Geller each time with no response even after calling receptionist and leaving several messages.
However, your case is successfully over and I wish you good luck!
In conclusion, after all of these situations happening during the case Mr. Geller called me asking if put a bad review out there, my sharing with him more instances regarding the poor level of service than just the rushed phone call, told he was sorry I wasn't pleased with his "bedside manor" among other things, and the nerve to inform me that I might need his help in the future.

They helped me every step of the way , reassured me everything was going to be okay. Glad I found them and trusted them to help me. Thank you !
