My experience with the Law Offices of John J. Zarych was unsatisfactory. After an arrest in 2020, I initially spoke with John, who gave the impression that he would be handling my case directly. However, I was later assigned to another attorney, Brandon, without clear explanation. This change felt misleading and unprofessional.

Despite providing video evidence of being physically attacked on my own property, the attorneys did not focus on presenting this in my defense. Instead, the approach seemed to shift attention toward my actions during the incident, rather than advocating on my behalf. During a phone call, Brandon made a remark that suggested the actions of the individuals who attacked me were somehow justified, which I found inappropriate and concerning.

During my first interaction with the firm, while I was in their office and John was working remotely, he directed my attention to wall decorations and made comments about Croatia and “natives.” These remarks occurred during a conversation about my legal case and were unrelated to the matter at hand. The overall conduct did not reflect professionalism or focus on the seriousness of the situation.

The firm appeared to rely on outdated methods and did not demonstrate accountability in their handling of my case. I did not feel that my background or concerns were taken seriously, and the representation did not meet the standard of advocacy I expected when hiring legal counsel.

Ultimately, I believe the outcome of the case was due to the strength of the evidence I personally provided, not the efforts of this firm. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office to individuals seeking proactive and culturally competent legal representation.
