After serving honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, Attorney Newton graduated magna cum laude from State University of New York College at Brockport with a B.S. in Business and Economics. Attorney Newton then continued on to obtain his law degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. After obtaining his law degree Attorney Newton worked as an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP's Boston, Massachusetts' office as a complex commercial litigation attorney working for our nation's largest companies. Attorney Newton then took his talents to the District Attorney's Office in New York City. After prosecuting thousands of criminal cases in New York City, Attorney Newton accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney with the District Attorney's Office in Boston working in the Dorchester District Court prosecuting criminal law cases. Attorney Newton's talents were quickly recognized and he rose to the position of Supervising Assistant District Attorney at the South Boston District Court supervising all criminal law cases in that court. Attorney Newton then took his wealth of experience from his time as a U.S. Marine, Attorney at Goodwin Procter, and Assistant District Attorney in Boston and NYC to start The Newton Law Firm, which is dedicated to protecting his clients' rights using a philosophy of personalized attention to every client and results driven legal representation.
