If you tell me that you are going to call back, call back. Ethics in the legal field have no value anymore.

I cannot say enough about the level of integrity and professionalism displayed by the team at Freed Marcroft. They truly care about their clients and are committed to guiding and supporting them through some of the toughest times of their lives. Between their expert consolation, consistent accessibility, and extremely engaging transitional programs, they will mindfully guide you to the next stage of your life. You don’t need to look anywhere else for help!

Having personally worked with this firm and referred clients to this firm, I fully recommend them to handle any family law matter. They handle cases with not only professionalism and empathy but are excellent litigators and advocates for their clients.

I knew Meghan and Kristen were wonderful before I became a Freed Marcroft client— but what I was really impressed with was how terrific their whole team was. Everyone I worked with was both professional and empathetic, and all took pride both in their individual roles and the legal team as a whole. When you work with Freed Marcroft you can tell how much time Meghan and Kristen have spent thinking through both the client experience and who they hire. The folks I worked with were clearly devoted to figuring out my goals and once they did they created a customized approach for me. They didn’t see me as a case or a legal problem, they saw me.

Post is more about the organization than the atty we worked with for mediated divorce... Everyone was very friendly & professional, however the following is the reason for my less than stellar rating:

1) Clients should meet with atty who will actually be taking the case... My original interview was with a partner, not with the atty who took the case, nor was it mentioned at any time that it would be like that
2) We had about the amount of meetings quoted for approximately $5K, yet our balance went several thousand dollars over what was quoted
3) After receiving & paying final bill, we received yet ANOTHER revised final bill for several hundred dollars more. Good customer service would have been to eat that considering the circumstances that occurred, and that final bill had been sent out.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. While it is always our hope that our clients are compelled to write positive things about their experience with our firm, we also appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow in those instances when we have not lived up to our own expectations. In your case, it’s clear we could have done a better job with some of our communications. It is our goal that every client has an outstanding experience, and we are sorry to learn that yours fell short of that. To begin with your feedback on your initial goals consultation, we believe it’s important to spend time with you, learn about your goals, your individual circumstances, and your vision for the future so that we can best guide you in your options as to legal process (mediation, collaborative, or litigated divorce) and assign you to the best attorney for your needs. We also give substantial consideration to the initial retainer that is asked of a client. The initial retainer amount isn’t the cost of a client’s divorce – rather the cost will vary depending on the time the team spends working with and for you and the expenses incurred. We are very mindful of our clients’ resources and, while billing for our services is a necessary component of running a responsible and viable business, our invoices are extremely detailed in terms of letting our clients know – as they absolutely deserve to know – how their resources are being applied and often reflect courtesy discounts of time. Often the last charge on a mediation client's bill reflects the fee the court charges when a divorce is filed, which we sometimes advance as a courtesy. Thank you again for taking time to write your review and provide us with your valuable feedback. We are committed to continually improving our process, and we will be putting the lessons learned from your comments to immediate use so that we can do better for our current and future clients alike. We are truly sorry that your experience with Freed Marcroft was less than exemplary, and we invite you to contact us directly if you would like to have a personal discussion about your feedback or anything else.
