3. Does your attorney understand when you need to be updated? (send summary updates when needed, because every communication is billed).
4. Is your attorney honest with you about pros and cons? No lawyer should ever make a guarantee about the outcome of a case. They can only prepare and present facts, laws, and your side of the story.

I raised truthful concerns and complaints with this firm. Their response: accusing me of “defaming” them. I 100% stand by my original claims:

- Yes, their respective was rude
- Yes, their representative hung up on me
- Yes, they quoted me a number and more than doubled it the very next day.

I think the firm would be better suited addressing their potential customer’s complaints and providing customer service as opposed to calling their customers liars- shame on you! Take responsibility for your actions.

Original Review: I initially called to get details about representation and was quoted a fair price. Shockingly, when I called back the very next day to schedule the consultation, the price had more than doubled without any explanation. Worse still, I had to dig and ask multiple probing questions just to get them to admit to the sudden change, all while dealing with a rude and dismissive representative. The conversation ended abruptly when the rep, clearly annoyed by my questions, hung up on me. This experience was beyond unprofessional—it's outright deceptive. I will absolutely not be using their services, and I strongly urge others to stay away.

I was not aware of how difficult it was going to be for me to get divorced and I never thought that I was going to need a lawyer, after countless nights of research for the best law firm in Houston I decided to call Boudreaux | Hunter & Associates; I was greeted and helped by Lauren, her voice and hospitable demeanor made me feel so comfortable, she answered my initial 101 questions and helped me set up an initial appointment over the phone with Shannon, after a very short conversation I knew that they were "the ones" I needed by my side.

For X&Y reasons a few months went by and finally set up an appointment in person to review the case; I was able to meet Shannon, Dena, and Lauren and the good "vibes" were definitely there.

I received some paperwork to fill out, which I did the same day and they literally started the process the next day.

After a few phone calls, countless of emails with all of my questions and concerns, and a few days that had to pass because that's how law works, I can finally say that I am divorced in the most fastest, painless and amicable way possible.

I could have not chosen a better law firm to represent me and my interests.

I will be forever grateful with the entire firm but specially Shannon, Dena and Lauren who are the ones that worked directly with me for making such a difficult process a piece of cake.

My case was a child support modification case, in the mix of other things as well. I had previously hired Shannon for my divorce case but due to personal reasons had to stop the process. I eventually was able to go through my divorce and come to terms with my ex-husband. But unfortunately things didn’t go 50/50 and I knew then that i had to call Shannon again. I love the way Shannon works, she is always on top of things. Her team is amazing as well, Lauren, Dena, Giuliana are always quick to respond back with emails or get everything in place when needed. Shannon always made me feel confident through mediation, made sure to ask what my thoughts were on all questions. I am beyond satisfied with the outcome.
