EPPLE V. BNSF 1.265M VERDICT Johnson County. Cynthia Huerta tried the Epple case with S. Reed Morgan and David Glenn, and his son Jacob, who handled the IT. Cynthia led the way with a fabulous voir dire, eliminating 15 people for cause, and picking a jury of caring smart business people, and blue collar workers. Cynthia did a great job on direct of the plaintiff's family members, eliciting the depth of Mrs. Epple's grief over her husband's injury, and her children's love and admiration for their Dad, who trained them to be successful in their careers through hard work. David Glenn did a great job with the defense doctor and cross of adverse witnesses; Reed started the trial with a strong framing of the issues and closed with reaching the emotions of the jury. Kirk Pittard kept the team true to the law, and did great work with the charge. A true team effort.

I am familiar with attorney Gabriel Gonzalez with the firm Schechter, Shaffer & Harris, LLP and he is professional, intelligent, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him and this firm.

Ok, So this is a 100% honest review. This review is purely my experience with Schechter, Shaffer& Harris, LLP. So please know that I am not bitter. Nor I am a revengeful person. This is simply my experience with this firm and attorney. My mother and I have been in an ongoing case, due to car wreak for over a year now. Which we’re both represented by attorney Mr. Gabriel Gonzalez.

I must be very transparent, when I articulate how on working with Mr. Gonzalez has been very Unprofessional. Frustrating. Inconsistent. Most importantly what you don’t want or need from lawyer that suppose to be representing you. Is someone like Mr. Gonzalez who’s very Non-Communicative. So to say that my experience working with attorney Gabriel Gonzalez has been a huge disappointment. From beginning to end would be a gross understatement !

This has been both tumultuous and traumatizing for me. And the absolute worst experience that my elderly mother and I have both ever endured with working with so called “professionals.” And that’s a term that use very loosely, when describing Schechter, Shaffer& Harris, LLP & Attorney Gabriel Gonzalez. I’ve only spoken to Mr. Gonzalez maybe 3 times in over a YEAR. And each time that I’ve gotten a chance to speak to him briefly. It’s been because I have gone out of my way to reach out to Mr. Gonzalez to pertain any new updates regarding our case statuses. Truly a disgustedly, sad situation!

So if case updates is a thing that you value. Or find of importance to you then that definitely isn’t attorney Gabriel Gonzalez style. Don’t worry though he does enjoy giving you updates… More about his personal family matters. And reasons on why he’s not communicating with you about your case. Want examples? Sure thing! #1.“I’m out with the family, I’ll call you tomorrow, when I’m in the office.” #2. “ I’m spending time with my daughter and currently out the office. I’ll give you a call tomorrow.” But my absolute personal favorite NON CASE RELATE! Update from Mr. Gonzalez has to be one of the ones that he told my mother whom he’s probably only spoken to on the phone with twice, since being her lawyer for over a year now. Is #3 “Our system is down, so I’ll call you tomorrow with an update.” And yes, I these “I call you tomorrow” promises from attorney Gabriel Gonzalez always go unfulfilled. Hey, I guess personal family updates from your lawyer are more important then the case updates that you actually hired him for!

So moving forward I will never again work with or recommend Schechter, Shaffer& Harris, LLP to anyone. And definitely not with attorney’s like Gabriel Gonzalez working under them. And yes, I’ve personally told attorney Gabriel Gonzalez that myself. I find Gabriel Gonzalez and lawyers like him to be very incompetent! I feel that he lacks respect and understanding of others time! So I would not recommend this firm for obvious reasons, which I’ve already expressed now.

I am a Family and Criminal attorney and I’ve personally used Jonathan Harris and his firm. I’ve also referred clients to the firm when they have been injured by the negligence of another. SMSH and Jonathan Harris are amazing. They win huge verdicts and get big money for their clients. I trust no one more than these guys. Simply THE BEST!!
